Ray Design Development is a company founded by Brian Ray. Brian is a licensed architect in Colorado and Texas, with a varied professional background that extends beyond Residential and Multi-Residential projects. Prior to venturing on his own, Brian was employed by Aardex LLC, a developer in Golden, CO. While at Aardex, Brian was an integral team member on numerous developments including the highly distinguished Signature Centre project. Signature Centre, which was awarded a LEED Platinum designation, was an 185,000 sf Commercial Office building and the recipient of several awards and distinctions, including a ceremony to open the building to the public with Governor Bill Ritter as the keynote speaker.
In addition to his architecture based responsibilities, Brian was involved with the Construction and Development division of the company and established a strong development knowledge base that he has since implemented into his private company. For Brian, success starts when a great project site is married with thorough research to best determine the use and function of the development. Understanding the market conditions, both availability and need is imperative. Once the project site and use are established, Brian utilizes his skills as an AIA award winning architect to create a project that is aesthetically unique and appealing. Adding functions to the building that meet buyer needs and desires, while avoiding unnecessary luxuries helps create a desirable and value based project without waste. The resultant is a project that appeals to buyers, and is financially successful for all.
