Ok, so were a little late on advanced notice of this worthy cause. Lo siento, mia culpa, and we’re sorry! The Park(ing) Day website describes it thus: “PARK(ing) Day is an annual, worldwide event that invites citizens everywhere to transform metered parking spots into temporary parks for the public good.” Take a walk around your downtown and check it out. In San Diego, you can see Park(ing) Day in action in front of UrbDeZine Panel Author Greg Strangman’s Onyx Building (852 Fifth Avenue) and also his Community @ Martin Building + Flats (401-413 Olive Street) as a joint effort with Holiday Matinee, Sezio, The Foundry, San Diego Architectural Foundation.
