The Los Angeles Department of Transportation is working with AEG, the developer of the site, to find places to put the city’s inverted U-racks, according to the department’s blog. The extra parking will serve cyclists looking to enjoy the campus’ restaurants, movie theater, and other establishments along Olympic Boulevard, Figueroa Street, and Chick Hearn Court.
The city plans to install the newly marked rack within the next month. Ten racks were marked last week and staff is working on removing plants to clear space for five more racks, according to officials. The L.A. Live campus currently offers more long-term bike parking in its parking garage.
