About Phil Myrick

Phil Myrick leads the Placemaking and Performance Design practice for MIG, a planning and design firm founded on research in human environments and environmental psychology. Prior to that, Phil worked for 18 years at the Project for Public Spaces. Phil has helped create some of the most dynamic urban projects in the country, including Pearl Brewery and Hemisfair in San Antonio, Discovery Green and Market Square in Houston, Pittsburgh Market Square, and BID revitalization projects in New York City. His work creating dynamic and walkable downtowns has helped towns and cities around the world achieve their livability and economic objectives by creating the places that attract people and talent.
